GUESS THE PLANT

Do you know this plant?  It is a baby "mmmmmm" and when they grow, and grow, we can get little balls. Then, we can also write stories about the princess and....

I hope you can guess it with all these clues...

YESTERDAY AND TODAY

Here you have some photos of the year before and of the preparation of the current one. We have already planted beans and garlics and radish are coming. Look at the enormous radish we got the last September.

Have a look also at the new area where we placed some aromatic plants. They are necessary in a garden for decorating and mainly because they help our veggies to grow stronger and healthier.

bye and see you soon.

NEW DESIGN OF OUR GARDEN

We'll start with a new design of the vegetable garden we have in the Primary School. I'm looking forward to show you photos of it.

Something also new is that we have thought in planting earlier. Then we are going to try with beans, garlic, radish, and probably peas.

We know there is the risk of losing the plants with the low temperatures, but the garden is for the students to experiment and learn with the "mistakes".

Photos are coming soon.

A NEW YEAR

This year is going to be the best of the three, since we started in 2008.The soil is prepared, so we'll start seeding and planting as soon as possible.

I'll show you photos of the current moment of our garden in the Primary School.

The only thing we need is your cooperation with compost, seeds, information, etc.

I hope that you read this message and help us with our illusion.

STORY BOOKS WITH VEGGIES

Once the new veggies, or baby veggies as I call them, are appearing in our 2009/10 garden, I'd like to offer to my partners and students possible tales and stories related to vegetables. Here you have some links:

Princess and the pea.

Camille and the sunflowers.

The enormous turnip.

Night of radishes.

when do we start?

Let's see if rain and snow let us start working with the garden.

We have already planned what to plant. We'll tell you about it.
